The Divemaster course is your first step into professional-level diving. As a Divemaster, you’ll develop advanced dive theory knowledge, refine your personal diving skills to a leadership level, and gain the experience to support instructors during training. Most importantly, you’ll learn how to take responsibility for the safety and enjoyment of divers under your care-whether assisting in courses or guiding certified divers.

This covers all training and tuition, plus air fills for pool and open water sessions. You’ll also receive a full Divemaster Crew Pack including:

• PADI Divemaster Manual
• PADI Encyclopedia of Recreational Diving
• eRDPml
• Divemaster Slates
• Knowledge Workbook
• PADI Instructor Manual

(PADI annual membership fees are not included in the course cost.)

Equipment requirements
You’ll need your own full set of dive gear in good working order, including:

• Complete SCUBA unit with alternate air source, SPG & computer
• BCD, mask, snorkel, boots, fins, wetsuit/drysuit, gloves
• Cylinders (x2), weights and system
• Compass, cutting device, slate & pencil, whistle, SMB & spool
• Pocket mask, log book, and 1 passport-style photo

Course structure
The Divemaster program combines three key elements:

• Watermanship and skill assessment: stamina, problem-solving, rescue skills, and demonstration-quality diving skills.
• Knowledge development: advanced dive theory, Divemaster exams, and preparation of an Emergency Assistance Plan.
• Internship experience: work alongside our instructors assisting with pool and open water courses, guide certified divers, and prepare a detailed map of a local dive site.

Certification
Once you’ve successfully completed all components, you’ll become a certified PADI Divemaster and a member of the world’s largest dive training organisation.
